The A303 in Wiltshire has been closed following a serious crash this evening.

Emergency services are attending the scene on the eastbound carriageway near Solstice Park.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is understood to have landed at the scene.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A303 by Solstice Park is closed Eastbound due to a serious road collision. This is to allow the air ambulance to land.

“Please avoid the area if at all possible.

“The road closure is likely to be in place for some time. Thanks for your patience.”
