The A429 in Wiltshire is currently blocked – as emergency services attend a crash.
999 crews rushed to reports of a road traffic collision on the busy route north of Malmesbury at around 4pm this afternoon (Thursday).
The road is shut in both directions while first responders deal with the incident.
According to Google Maps, there are significant traffic delays in both directions between Crudwell and the entrance to Charlton Park House.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Drivers are advised of a road closure in place on the A429 just south of Crudwell (north of Malmesbury).
“Emergency services are currently responding to a road traffic collision. Please seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area.
“Thank you for your patience.”
