The A420 has been closed following a road traffic collision near Swindon.
The main route is shut in both directions between Watchfield and Faringdon after a serious smash at around 10am this morning (Wednesday, 14 September).
According to a witness, a bus and a van were involved in the incident.
Motorists are facing major delays in the area, with standstill traffic in the immediate vicinity.
Police are working to put closures in place and divert traffic around the road affected.
