The A419 in Swindon is closed following a road traffic collision.
Police have shut the major route in both directions between Commonhead Roundabout and White Hart Roundabout after a crash.
Nobody is believed to have been seriously hurt in the incident, but the road must be closed for vehicle recovery work.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware that the A419 just north of the Common Head roundabout for Coate is currently closed in both directions following an RTC.
“There are not thought to be any injuries but both carriageways will need to be closed to allow for recovery. Please find alternate routes.”
