The A36 has been closed after a lorry collided with a bridge in South Wiltshire.

Emergency services are attending the scene on Warminster Road near Wilton this morning (19 April).

Network Rail officers are on scene, assessing the damage to  Kingsway Bridge, which crosses the A36 near Kingsway House.

Wiltshire Police says nobody’s been hurt in the incident.

“Thankfully nobody is believed to have been injured, but emergency services, as well as Network Rail, are at the scene”, a force spokesperson said.

They added: “A section of the road is currently closed in that location so please find alternative routes.”
