A road has been closed following a serious collision in Salisbury.
Wiltshire Police are currently investigating what Wiltshire 999s understands to be a hit-and-run on the A36 near to Petersfinger Park and Ride.
Local media reports that police have confirmed that a woman pedestrian in her 20s suffered serious injuries in the crash at around 5pm today, 3 January.
The vehicle involved in the incident is thought to be a Mini with stripes on the bonnet.
