Police were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Westbrook Road, east of Melksham, at around 7.20am this morning (Monday).
A silver Vauxhall Corsa left the carriageway, hitting a number of boundary rocks.
Following the impact, a fluid – thought to be oil – began leaking from the vehicle.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed that the driver, a woman aged in her 20s, has been reported to court for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
Officers took the woman home and arranged for the car to be removed.
The road was partially blocked for around 20 minutes at approximately 11am for recovery work – but there were no traffic delays.
