The A303 is closed in both directions while firefighters tackle a lorry blaze.
The incident started at around 5pm, near Chicklade Service Station, but the heavy good vehicle remains well alight at 6pm with a number of fire crews on scene.
It’s believed the road is closed between A350 and Fonthill Bishop.
