Air ambulance medics have treated a woman after she fell from a first-floor flat window in Swindon this evening (Friday).
It’s understood police officers were dealing with a domestic incident within the property in Crawford Close, Freshbrook, reportedly arresting a man and taking him away in cuffs.
According to witnesses, a short time later a woman attempted to climb out of the window before falling to the ground.

Further details are unclear at this stage – but Great Western Air Ambulance was deployed, with the charity’s critical care team providing treatment alongside a local ambulance crew.
She was taken to hospital by land ambulance for further care. Her condition is unknown, but she was conscious and breathing when she was taken to the ambulance.

The flat involved in the incident has been cordoned off as a crime scene.
