A diversion was put in place tonight after two cars were involved in a crash in Swindon.
Motorists were forced to detour when the vehicles collided on Swindon Road, near the junction with Marshfield Way, in Stratton St Margaret at around 10pm today.
Both cars, a Ford Mondeo and a small Hyundai, were badly damaged in the collision and were recovered by Greenmeadow just after 11pm and the road was reopened.
It’s not believed that anyone was injured in the incident, but a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the scene alongside the police.
