Two people have been injured after a trailer smashed into a bus near Melksham.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the A365 Shaw Hill, Shaw, at around 6.40pm this evening (Wednesday).
It’s claimed a trailer detached from a JCB telehandler, hitting the front of a Faresaver bus.
Two passengers on board the bus sustained injuries. One has a head wound, while another has a suspected leg fracture.
Neither casualty is thought to have sustained any serious injuries.
Police and the ambulance service are at the scene, with the road blocked in both directions.
Closures are expected to remain in place for the next hour or two.
