The A4 in Chippenham is closed after a multi-vehicle road traffic collision.
Emergency services are currently responding to the crash, which happened on Chequers Hill, at around 1.40pm today (Wednesday).
The incident is believed to involved several cars. However, no one’s believed to have been seriously hurt.
The road is blocked in both directions between Chequers Roundabout in Chippenham and Cross Keys, Corsham.
The severity of the crash is unknown at this stage – but closures could be in place for some time.
Traffic is building, with motorists queuing for some distance in both directions.
