Police in Swindon have ‘stepped up’ an investigation into the theft of a ladder – releasing a photo of a suspect.
The incident happened in Dacre Road, Walcot, at around 2pm on Saturday 27 April, when the piece of equipment was taken from outside a home.
CCTV footage from the area has been reviewed, and officers have released an image of a man they’d like to speak to about the theft.
The ladder was reportedly taken from a front garden, and was nabbed in broad daylight.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to speak with him in connection with the theft of a ladder from a property in Dacre Road, Swindon.
“It took place on April 27 at around 2pm.
“If you recognise him, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 54250050877.”
