A Chippenham man has appeared in court after a car was stolen during a test drive.
Callum Foster was charged with robbery and remanded in police custody, appearing at Salisbury Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning (21 May).
The 27-year-old, of Queens Square, allegedly arranged to test drive a vehicle – before stealing it and driving away.
The defendant, and a passenger in the car, were arrested Leigh Delamere services on the M4.
The passenger – a man – has been released on bail while further enquiries are carried out.
Foster was remanded in custody, and is due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on Tuesday 18 June for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
