An air ambulance was scrambled when a man suffered a cardiac arrest on a farm.
Emergency services attended reports of a serious medical incident off Broad Town Road, Broad Town, at around 10.30am this morning (Friday).
A man, aged in his 70s, collapsed at a farm – with a community first responder, the ambulance service and the police racing to the scene.
An officer at the incident told Wiltshire 999s that the man had suffered a cardiac arrest.
Two ambulances crews, critical care medics from Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, a roads policing officer and three local officers attended.
He was treated on the ground, before being stabilised and rushed to Great Western Hospital for further care. His family have been informed.
