A Melksham man has admitted stalking a woman at the hopsital and numerous shops.

Ben Croucher turned up at locations he knew his ex-partner over the course of three months.

The 37-year-old was charged and remanded in police custody, before appearing in the dock at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Friday (28 February).

The father, of Coronation Road, Melksham, pleaded guilty to stalking his victim between November 2024 and 22 January 2025.

According to court documents, he “would turn up at places you knew her to be including Lidl, Argos, Waitrose and the community hospital plus others”.

He was released on bail with conditions not to contact the woman directly or indirectly, not to go to Goldfinch Road and to make child contact arrangements via social services or a solicitor.

A pre-sentence report was ordered, and Croucher will return to the same court for sentencing on 21 March.
