A serious crash has shut the A419 as emergency services respond to the incident.
999 crews were called to the southbound carriageway in Swindon at around 9am today (Wednesday).
According to National Highways, a van which has left the carriageway and struck a road sign.
The road is closed from Blunsdon junction, and could be closed for several hours.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are in attendance at an RTC on the A419 Southbound with emergency services colleagues.
“The Southbound A419 carriageway is CLOSED at Turnpike Junction, please avoid the area if possible.”
