UPDATE: Woman critically injured after crashing car into tree near Westbury
A serious crash near Westbury has resulted in the closure of busy A-road.
Emergency services were called to the A3098 near Tower Hill at around 7.30pm this evening (Monday).
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Wiltshire Air Ambulance are in attendance alongside several fire crews and ambulances.
The road is shut between Dilton Marsh and the A36 Black Dog Hill. It is likely to be closed for several hours.
