Armed police were deployed after a person carrying two swords entered a college.
Firearms officers kitted up and swooped on the North Star campus of Swindon College shortly after 10am yesterday morning (Wednesday, 18 October).
It was quickly established that the person was indeed carrying two swords – but they were props.
Wiltshire Police said that “strong words of advice were given” before officers stood down.
