A group of ‘mindless individuals’ have vandalised a scout hut in Melksham.

Police were called to the building at King George V Playing Field off the A3102 Bath Road this morning (Monday) following a break-in over the weekend.

Officers discovered “a huge amount of damage”, according to a post on Facebook.

Walls and surfaces appear to have been sprayed with graffiti, and those involved are believed to have urinated on the floor.

On tag used repeatedly reads “TRIXY LOOUD”.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Did you see anything? Hear anything? Do you recognise this graffiti, tag or handwriting?

“If you do please contact Wiltshire Police on 101 quoting log 115 of the 02/10/23, email Melksham Neighbourhoods at [email protected] or report through Crimestoppers.”
