He had also made racist remarks and inappropriate jokes during lessons

A Wiltshire teacher who talked to his students about their sexual experiences, told them he owned and use sex toys and asked them to feel his muscles has been struck off.

A panel heard how Guy Rogers, 44, who taught at Stonar School in Melksham, had engaged in unacceptable professional conduct and failed to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

During lessons, he spoke to students about the age that they should lose their virginity, the students’ sexual experiences and called them “babe”, “baby” or “beautiful”. He also sang love songs to them.

The panel also head how he’d made racist remarks and inappropriate jokes.

A National College for Teaching and Leadership misconduct panel rejected his claim that the complaints were in fact lies.

The report said that Pupil A said Rogers “told her that he had previously had a threesome and that one of his friends had bought him sex toys.”

Pupil B alleged he had recounted past sexual experiences and made her “pinky promise” not to tell anyone when he confessed to owning sex toys.

The panel concluded that there was insufficient evidence to suggest his behaviour was sexually motivated.

Rogers was found to have breached professional standards, and prohibited from teaching indefinitely. He can apply for the order to be lifted in three years’ time.

Wiltshire Police carried out an investigation in 2015, but didn’t bring any charges.
