A man has been arrested following a report of a serious sexual assault in Swindon.
Police received a report that a woman had been sexually assaulted near to Commercial Road at approximately 4.45am this morning (Saturday).
A man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody in Gablecross for questioning.
Wiltshire Police say that their enquiries are ongoing and a cordon has been put in place which will remain while detectives continue with their investigation.
