Two suspected illegal immigrants have been arrested on the M4 in Wiltshire today (Tuesday).
Roads policing officers, supported by an armed response unit, stopped the grey Audi on the motorway over concerns about the level of tint applied to the front nearside window.
The driver of the vehicle provided officers with his details – which soon transpired to be false.
An investigation into the identity of the driver, and his passenger, revealed that both were in the country illegally.
The pair have since been arrested and are en route to custody, where the UK Border Agency will take over the case.
