A serial offender Kris Cooper was filmed ‘rapping’ in Swindon town centre.

Footage of the well-known criminal, who has been in and out of prison for many years, was posted on social media on Wednesday (19 October).

The 37-year-old’s last spell behind bars was in April this year, after he was imprisoned for smashing windows in the very street he was filmed ‘performing’ in.

In 2020, he was jailed for three months after headbutting a police officer and threatening to kill him in the Manchester Road area.

The court has consistently heard about Cooper’s struggles with alcohol and drugs. He’s currently working with the probation service to address his issues.

Now it appears he’s turned his attention to spitting bars.

In the footage labelled ‘wolshi freestyle’, which has amassed nearly 30,000 views online, he mentions Penhill.

He ‘raps’ on a bench outside JD Sports in Canal Walk before jumping off and continuing. At one point, he places his hand in his trousers as he dances.

The video sparked dozens of comments across social media, with several users writing: “Only in Swindon”.

Another said: “i knew this was swindon as soon as i saw the first 0.1 of a second”.

“Gotta love Swindon”, one woman penned.

Another wrote: “He’s the man that said he loved seagulls”.
