The police helicopter is currently circling an area of Swindon following an incident.
The National Police Air Service aircraft from Bristol started a search over the Walcot, Park North and Park South areas at around 5pm this evening (Friday, 9 September).
Several police vehicles have been spotted on the ground and appear to be patrolling in search of somebody.
Numerous comments on Facebook, seen by Wiltshire 999s, suggest a person was stabbed near Buckhurst Playing Fields – but this has not yet been confirmed.
Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment.
