A male cyclist has been taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted outside a Swindon supermarket in broad daylight this morning.
The middle-aged man, who was seen being attacked by another man near his bicycle outside Sainsbury’s in Bridgemead, was left in a pool of his own blood.
The incident happened at around 10.45am today, Saturday 25 November.
The area was sealed off as a crime scene for around two hours, being lifted at before 2pm.
