Wiltshire Police is urging members of the public to check outhouses, garages and sheds on their properties as the search for missing 53-year-old Victoria Clements enters its fourth day.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Victoria, who went missing from Devizes on Wednesday lunchtime (22 September).

She was last seen at 1pm in the Marshall Road area of the town and is believed to be on foot.

It is believed that Victoria could be sleeping rough and a coordinated police search will take place today at various rural locations near Devizes.

Victoria has shoulder-length, brown hair and was wearing a brown jacket, grey jeans and walking boots. She was carrying a blue bag with a butterfly logo.

Detective Inspector Eirin Martin said: “We’re very concerned about the welfare of Victoria – she’s been missing for four days now and we would like to find her as soon as possible to ensure she is safe and well.

“I would ask members of the public to help by checking their back gardens, any sheds or outbuildings to check for signs of anyone having recently been there – this could include discarded food or wrappers, bedding material or footprints.

“If you think you may have seen Victoria or you’ve got any information which could help us find her, please contact us as a matter of urgency.”

If you think you’ve seen someone matching Victoria’s description in the Devizes area, call police on 999 quoting reference 54210092699.
