Two men were arrested after an incident in an Indian restaurant car park last night.

Police were called to the scene at Tandoori Flames restaurant in Moredon Road, Moredon, at around 8pm following reports of a vehicle break-in.

When officers arrived at the scene, two suspects were located and detained.

“Officers arrived and arrested two local males – a 24 and 30-year-old – on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle”, a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.

Adding that “both are currently in custody.”

Local residents reported seeing six police vehicles in attendance.
