A casualty has been airlifted to hospital after they were found collapsed in a lane near Bradford on Avon.
Passers by are said to have found the person unconscious on the unnamed road between Lower Westwood and Farleigh Hungerford at around 3.30pm this afternoon.
A number of police and ambulance crews were attending the scene, with the road closed in both directions.
The patient was airlifted to a specialist hospital in Bristol by Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
