A suspected illegal immigrant has been arrested after police spotted him near Marlborough.
The man was spoken to by officers patrolling the near the A346 in the area Ogbourne St George this afternoon and it was established that he may have entered the country illegally.
Police believe he entered Britain on a lorry from France. The man was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and conveyed to Gablecross custody.
The Home Office has been notified.
