Detectives are at the scene of a serious incident in central Trowbridge this evening.
Police cordoned off a number of areas in Market Street and Park Lane at around 7pm.
Park Lane has been cordoned off completely as Melksham CID attend the scene.
Officers in cars appeared to be driving around the town in search of someone – possibly a suspect.
It is not yet clear what has happened here tonight; we’ve approached Wiltshire Police for comment.
