There are delays on a roundabout in Swindon this afternoon after a van crashed into barriers.

The Euro Car Parts van, brandishing the slogan ‘Keeping You Moving’, collided with the barriers on Bridgemead Roundabout on Great Western Way at around 3.40pm.

A specialist roads policing officer is at the scene.

An ambulance is understood to have been called to the scene, but no one is seriously hurt.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called at approximately 3.50pm to a report that a vehicle had crashed into a fence at Bridgemead.

“Looks like two vehicles were involved – a Peugeot Partner van and a Suzuki Ignis.”
