Police officers in Swindon are appealing for witnesses after a man indecently exposed himself near to a park in the Abbey Meads area on Tuesday.

The incident happened between 4.10pm and 4.20pm on Tuesday 25 April.

A woman was walking in Abbey Meads Park, near to Tracy Close, when the man approached her and exposed himself; she woman, who then ran off, was left shaken by the incident.

The man is described as: white, in his late-30s, 5 foot 8 inches tall, of skinny build; he had a full black beard and was wearing dark blue jeans and a light grey hoody.

PC Matt Shutt said: “The victim believes there were a number of people in the park at the time and may have seen this happen – if you were there please contact me.

“I’d also like to speak to a female whom the victim spoke to – she’s described as white, 5′ 6″ tall, of skinny build with brown hair in a ponytail and wearing black clothing. If that was you, please come forward too.”

What did you see? If you can help with police enquiries please contact PC Matt Shutt on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
