A man in his 20s has died following a head-on crash on the A4361 northbound.
The collision, involving a a blue Chrysler Voyager and a grey Peugeot 106, happened at 3.18pm yesterday prior to Broad Hinton between Avebury and Wroughton.
The driver of the Peugeot, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
“A coach containing 90 young people was associated with the collision, but none of the occupants were injured in any way.
“The road was closed for around eight hours while we carried out collision investigation work.
“We are appealing for anyone with information about the collision, including anyone who has dash cam footage of either of the vehicles involved, to call PC John Armstrong from Tri-Force on 101, quoting log 224 of yesterday (10/03/19).
