Firefighters have battled a major car fire on a north Swindon estate this evening.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident on Tadpole Lane at 7.35pm, arriving 12 minutes later and extinguished the fire within minutes.
Wiltshire Police also attended the scene and closed the road. It’s expected to reopen before 9.30pm, once the vehicle involved has been recovered.
Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.
