A woman has died following a serious incident in Trowbridge town centre.
Emergency services were called to an address in Church Street at around 3pm on Tuesday (29 September).
Despite the best efforts of medics, including a critical care team from Great Western Air Ambulance, a woman died at the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “This relates to the sudden death of a woman in her 70s.
“There are no suspicious circumstances, and our thoughts are with her family.”
The air ambulance touched down at Trowbridge Town Park. While the incident was ongoing, locals surrounded the aircraft to take photos and speak to the pilot.
