A major search operation is underway along the Kennet and Avon Canal today (Sunday) after a woman disappeared in Devizes.
52-year-old Marcia has been missing since around 8.15am on Friday (11 September) – when she was last seen in the Kingsmanor Wharf area.
Wiltshire Search and Rescue (WILSAR) was deployed by Wiltshire Police at 7am this morning, with teams carrying out extensive searches along the canal.

Specialist resources from Hampshire Search and Rescue Dogs, Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire, Avon and Somerset Search and Rescue and Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue are also responding.
Marcia is described as around 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build, with blonde hair.
She is believed to be wearing dark navy or black leggings, a striped top and flip flops.
Police are also urging residents to check their gardens, garages and outbuildings for any sign of Marcia.
People living in the area have been asked to review CCTV and doorbell camera footage which may have captured her.
