Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to Taplow Walk in Park South following reports of a casualty with knife wounds at around 9.20pm on Sunday (26 July).
The ambulance service were first on scene, treating a man – aged in his 20s. He was rushed to the Great Western Hospital for treatment.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that they received a called from paramedics, reporting a “suspected stabbing injury”.
Officers attended the scene, and have since carried out door-to-door enquiries are part of an investigation into the serious assault.

South Western Ambulance Service confirmed that they sent one ambulance to the scene, and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Great Western Hospital.
Locals reported seeing a large police presence in the area while 999 crews attended the incident.
