Police have cordoned off a busy route in Swindon due to a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to Kingshill at around 5.30pm this afternoon (Saturday).
Two double-crewed ambulances and around four police vehicles are in attendance.
A casualty is lying in the road, where they are being treated by medics.
The collision involved a bicycle and a Volvo XC90.
The road is closed in both directions between Okus Road and Clifton Street. Closures are expected to remain in place for some hours.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are currently attending the scene of a road traffic collision on Kingshill Road, Swindon, in which a cyclist has been in collision with a car.
“The cyclist, a man in his 80s, has been taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
“There have been no arrests.
“Closures are currently in place at the top of Kingsill Road, at the Junction with Bath Road. Drivers should seek alternative routes.”
