A motorcyclist has been killed in a horror crash on a deadly Wiltshire crossroads.
Emergency services were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A4361 near Wroughton shortly before 7pm on Thursday (21 May).
The incident involved a motorcycle and a black Jeep at the crossroads for Uffcott / Bassett Down.

The biker sustained significant injuries, with members of the public starting CPR.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance landed at the scene and critical care medics provided assistance alongside police officers and local ambulance crews.

Despite the best efforts of everyone, the motorcyclist – a man aged in his 40s – was pronounced dead a short time later. His next of kin has been informed.
The crossroads were closed in all four directions until around 6.30am today (Friday), with a full-scale forensic collision investigation carried out.

In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: “Serious Collision Investigators have attended the scene to conduct enquiries and our thoughts are with the family of the motorcyclist at this difficult time.
