A ‘kind and lovely’ man has died after collapsing near his home in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to Welcombe Avenue, at the footpath for Kenton Close, at around 7.30am this morning (Sunday).
It came after a member of the public who was out walking their dog came across a man on the ground, who was found to be in cardiac arrest.

Ambulance crews, around five police officers and critical care medics from Great Western Air Ambulance – which landed nearby – swiftly attended the scene.
Despite the best efforts of those involved, he was pronounced deceased.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed officers responded to a medical incident, and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
One local resident said: “Thinking of all their family at this tragic time. Such a lovely man!”
Another added: “Condolences to the family such a lovely family/neighbour so kind an helpful.”
