The Neighbourhood Policing Team have been engaging with residents and businesses, particularly in Fore Street, while tackling anti-social behaviour-related issues.

Last week one man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and malicious communications. A Criminal Behaviour Order application has been submitted and will be heard at court.

A woman was issued with a Section 35 dispersal order before later being arrested for outraging public decency. A Criminal Behaviour Order application has also been made in her case and will be considered by magistrates.

Two juveniles were arrested for failing to appear in court. One was wanted in connection with criminal damage, while the other related to public order offences.

A man has been issued with an anti-social behaviour warning letter. A female juvenile has been charged with criminal damage at Trowbridge railway station.

In a separate incident, a man was arrested and charged with assault, public order offences and criminal damage in Trowbridge town centre. Another man was arrested after officers located him on an outstanding warrant.

A woman has been issued with a Community Protection Warning for anti-social behaviour.

A closure order has been granted on a residential address in Timbrell Street due to ongoing anti-social behaviour linked to the resident and visitors. A further closure order application has been submitted to Salisbury Magistrates’ Court for another address in Trowbridge and is awaiting a hearing.

Looking ahead to the summer months, officers are planning a series of pop-up community events across the town, including visits to retail premises, banks and other public locations to offer crime prevention advice.

A spokesperson for Trowbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Let us know where and when you would like to see the team, and what crime prevention advice would be most helpful to you.

“Thank you for continuing to work with us to keep Trowbridge safe.”
