A 44-year-old woman who was found dead at a property in Swindon has been named locally as Kerrie Horwat.
Emergency services were called to the woman’s home in Ferndale Road on Saturday (11 April) following concerns for her welfare.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We attended a property in Ferndale Road, Swindon, at around 3:25pm on Saturday (11/04).
“A 44-year-old woman was sadly found deceased in the property.
“This is not being treated as suspicious, and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.”
Since the news emerged, tributes have poured in online from friends and loved ones who described Kerrie as a “beautiful soul” who would be deeply missed.

Her death has left many in shock, with several saying they had spoken to her only days before she died.
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust confirmed it was alerted earlier in the day.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at 12:37hrs on Saturday 11 April to an incident in Swindon. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance, and an operations officer to the scene.”
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were also asked to assist.
A spokesperson said: “We were called to Ferndale Road, Swindon at 2.17pm on Saturday (11 April) to assist the ambulance service.
“A crew and the aerial ladder platform from Swindon attended, and our stop was at 3.29pm.”
