A woman’s been ‘found dead’ after 999 crews descended on a home in Swindon.
Emergency services, including Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, were called to an address in Ferndale Road on Saturday afternoon (11 April).
To assist the ambulance service at the scene, fire crews attended – launching an aerial ladder platform up to a first-floor window.
At around 3.30pm, there was a significant presence of emergency vehicles as first responders worked at the incident.
A 44-year-old woman was “found deceased in the property”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed.
Adding: “This is not being treated as suspicious, and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.”
