A 15-year-old denies murdering Shayne Hambakachere in Chippenham.
At the latest court hearing, the teenager entered a not guilty plea to a charge of murder at Bristol Crown Court today (Thursday).
It follows the stab killing of Shayne in London Road on 31 January. A trial date has been set for 10 August 2026.

Despite the serious nature of the case, the defendant cannot legally be named due to his age.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A 15-year-old boy has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Shayne Hambakachere in Chippenham on January 31st this year.
“The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Bristol Crown Court today (02/04) charged with the offence.
“He has been remanded into custody ahead of a trial, which has been scheduled for August 10th.”
