Air ambulance medics have treated a casualty after a crash in Chippenham.
Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the A350 near Bumpers Farm on Sunday morning (8 March).
Critical care medics from Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance attended in a rapid response vehicle due to the charity’s helicopter being offline.
Firefighters from Chippenham and Corsham attended the incident, assisting the driver of a blue Mini Cooper from their damaged vehicle.
Ambulance crews gave treatment before taking the patient to hospital. They aren’t thought to have been seriously hurt.
Fire crews also worked to prevent fuel from leaking into nearby watercourses, a spokesperson for Chippenham Fire Station said.
