A man wearing red latex lingerie was seen ‘touching himself’ in a public field in Swindon – leaving a woman screaming in fear.
The victim claims to have called the police following the scary encounter behind Shaw Ridge Leisure Park at around 2.15pm today (Friday).
The broad daylight incident, which happened not far from Shaw Ridge Primary School, involved a male described as black and wearing a balaclava.
It’s said the suspect was dressed in red latex lingerie. She said that the man “ran towards me and just stood staring at me face to face” – leaving her shocked and screaming.
The woman was able to snap a photo of him as he made off from the scene through a woodland. The low-quality image shows a figure in red in the trees.
“Please be aware and keep your children safe walking to and from school as this is around school times”, she warned.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are investigating reports of an indecent exposure in the Tewkesbury Way area of Swindon.
“Just after 2pm yesterday (06/03) a man, dressed in red, was reportedly seen touching himself inappropriately.
“When the victim tried to take a photo to identify him he ran towards her.
“Officers attended the scene and carried out searches, and followed up on multiple potential sightings.
