Two people have been arrested after paramedics were attacked in Swindon.
Police were called to Kingswood Avenue shortly after 12.15pm today (Friday). Officers responded to a report that paramedics were being assaulted at an address.
A man, aged in his 30s, on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and two counts of threats to kill police officers. He has been taken to custody for questioning.

Insp Jamie Brown said: “We will not tolerate assaults on paramedics, police officers, or any other emergency service workers who are there to help and protect members of our communities.
“These people put themselves in difficult situations every day to provide urgent care and support to those in need and to be met with violence whilst carrying out their duty is totally unacceptable.”
Kingswood Avenue was partially blocked while the incident was ongoing, with witnesses claiming their were two ambulances, an ambulance car and several police vehicles present.
Another witness told of how a man was restrained on the ground, while the woman was sat on the pavement as officers and paramedics surrounded her.
