The death of Sarah Forrester is being treated as ‘unexplained’ – nearly a week after police launched a murder probe.
The 55-year-old mum was found dead following a ‘disorder’ at her home in Baydon Close, Swindon, last Friday evening (21 November).
Today (Thursday), it has been confirmed that detectives still don’t know how Sarah died.
An investigation is ongoing into her cause of death and the circumstances surrounding it.
A 13-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of murder remains on bail following questioning.
Sarah’s body remains held at Flax Bourton forensic mortuary in Somerset.
Superintendent Mike Vass, Swindon hub commander, said: “We appreciate the significant impact this incident has had on the local community and wider town and we would encourage anyone who has any concerns or needs additional support to reach out to their local neighbourhood team.
“An investigation is continuing into Sarah’s death, with the cause of death remaining unexplained.
“Our thoughts remain with her friends and family at this sad time.”
