An arrest warrant has been issued for a Swindon man charged with sexual assault.
Amanuel Gebreezgabhier was due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on 2 October.
However, the 39-year-old failed to turn up and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
The defendant, of Crombey Street, Swindon, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at an address in Bishopthorpe Road, Bristol, more than two years ago.
Police have now been tasked with locating and arresting Gebreezgabhier.
It’s likely, once found, he’ll be held in police custody until the next available court hearing.
